Sleepy Safari Animals

It has taken a little while to get the room ready for this piece. But the walls were primed, painted, and ready this past weekend. Elephants, giraffes, and zebras, oh my!

We started with a crib sized "headboard" mural.

Little safari animals in chocolate, ivory, and lilac.

There's an adjoining Jack and Jill bathroom in which we decided to do a matching border. We also decided to make extra personal with a monogram and the little bundle of joy's birthday as focal points in the bathroom.

At the end of the day (or two days), I was very pleased with the finished designs. I think it came out really well. Adorable for a little girl's room.

Hand Painted Floral Border

This is a border I painted in October of 2008. The client had beautiful hand-made fabric for her guest room and the adjoining bathroom. The fabric was custom and one of a kind. I was asked to paint a border to match it in the bathroom.

Above is the fabric. Fantastic, isn't it?

This was an enjoyable job. I was pleased with the result as was the client - which pleased me even more!
